230 - supporting Help us Help Christmas Cabin - November 2025
This week we have supported the Help Us Help Christmas Cabin. Help us Help is run by local charities and Sheffield City Council, alongside other groups and individuals who want to support people caught up in a life on the street. The Cabin is in Sheffield city centre and is collecting donations of everyday essentials (socks, hats, boxers, hand warmers, toiletries, coffee, biscuits) which will be shared out among charities supporting people experiencing homelessness. (Archer Project, Ben's Centre, The Sunday Centre, HARC, Framework Charity & Soup Kitchen).
We have sent £500 to help the organisers buy as many provisions as they can in addition to anything donated, to ensure they reach as many people as they can with these vital provisions.
The team are in the Cabin (opposite Boots on The Moor) until Monday 1 December. If you are in town this weekend, do pay them a visit, or have a look at their fundraising page https://gofund.me/
We have loved following stories from the cabin this week, learning about the generous donations shoppers in town are making https://www.facebook.
We are pleased that our milestone donation is helping so many amazing Sheffield charities to support people experiencing homelessness at this difficult time of year.
